How do I apply to Cargo Safeway?

Send your updated CV and certificates to recruitment@cargosafewayinc.com, or message us on Facebook. Our Manila crewing team reviews every application and contacts qualified seafarers for the next steps.

What documents do I need to apply?

Have your CV, valid passport and Seaman's Book (SIRB), and the certificates for your rank ready — STCW courses plus your Certificate of Competency (COC) or Proficiency (COP). Your latest medical (PEME) and training records help us process you faster.

What ranks and vessel types do you crew for?

We deploy deck, engine, and officer ranks — from ratings to senior officers — aboard container ships, reefers, and bulk carriers for principals including Evergreen Marine, Italia Marittima, and TOEI.

Do you charge any placement fee?

No. In line with POEA/DMW regulations, Cargo Safeway does not collect placement fees from seafarers. Please be cautious of anyone asking for payment in our name.

I'm a fresh graduate or cadet — can I still apply?

Yes. Through our Cadet Trainee Volunteer Program, cadets complete four stages of training before joining foreign-going vessels. New graduates are welcome to submit their credentials.

How is my personal information handled?
